The Day of the Dead is one of the most beautiful traditions that we have as Mexicans and that represents us completely. For us, death is not something tragic but a celebration of what was a life full of joys, love and good times with our dearest ones.

Our colorful altars colors full of memories invite us to honor the memory of those who are no longer here. For this table I was inspired by these altars, using many of its traditional elements such as flowers, food, candles and skulls. This table is an invitation for all those who are no longer here but that somehow continue to guide me forward and that without a doubt, I remember every step of the way. To live in the hearts we leave behind is not to die.
